Electricity Verification Portal

The electricity origin disclosure portal is available in the Renewable Energy Information System, showing the origin of electricity to consumers with an active electricity contract.

You can log in using Smart-ID, ID card, or Mobile-ID. If you have representation rights, you can also access the portal on behalf of a legal entity.

Once logged in, you can view the origin of the electricity you have consumed.

The graph of electricity of unverified origin consumed in Estonia displays the most recently published residual mix and its CO₂ emissions.. Electricity without certified origin is used by consumers whose electricity is not verified by guarantees of origin.

The My Electricity graph displays information about the origin of the electricity consumed and the average CO2 emissions of electricity.

  • If all consumption is proven by guarantees of origin, the origin of electricity is displayed by energy source and CO2 emissions are displayed according to the cancelled guarantees of origin. If part of consumption is certified by guarantees of origin, the residual mix for the respective year is used for the part not verified by guarantees of origin.
  • If the residual mix has not yet been published for the respective year, the latest published residual mix has been used.
  • If guarantees of origin have not been cancelled to prove consumption, the graph displays data on electricity of unproven origin consumed in Estonia, i.e. residual mix.

The consumed electricity is the sum of the consumption of all metering points. Self-produced and consumed renewable energy is not taken into account.

If renewable energy guarantees of origin have been cancelled against your consumption, the second page, the geographical origin of renewable electricity, will display the country of origin of the consumed renewable electricity.

You can download a confirmation letter in PDF format regarding the amount and origin of your electricity consumption for the past calendar year.

The electricity supplier’s graph displays information about the origin of the electricity supplied and its CO2 emissions. Published residual mix is used for the part not verified by guarantees of origin. Information for the calendar year is displayed on the electricity supplier’s graph when the residual mix for the year in question has been published. The origin of the electricity supplied by an electricity supplier is displayed across the entire sales portfolio and this does not mean that every consumer consumes electricity of the same origin. For the consumer, the origin of electricity is only proven by the use of guarantees of origin.
